FLIZZY
Is a performing Artist based in Johannesburg South Africa, born in the middle ages of the 90s on the 12th of April. He finished school in 2016 and then started pursuing his dream career to become the next Superstar in your Hometown. He is also an independent individual with a massive passion in music, in one of our interviews with him he says "Music is not what i am but it’s who & how i feel or express myself to the world nothing more, nothing less PERIOD!'‘, this clearly shows his much love with music. He is mostly inspired by the current situation and the environment surrounding him all times but the weird thing is FLIZZY never reveals his role model.
He confidentially recognises himself as a diverse artist because of his ability of exploring new sound from time to time, however basically we would like to describe him as a Hip hop artist.
He began realising his talent at high school where he used to do rap battles, cyphers and performed at school functions such as Prom Nights. In 2016 he dropped his first album called Blur Life Wonders, then later the following year he released an EP titled TRIBAL X THE I but back then he was well known as Flizzy Breezy. Due to his interests in expanding his fan base from a Local sensation to an international level he later shortened his name to FLIZZY in order to solidify his place at a global scale.
Looking at his old songs & his current new songs we noticed a great change between them in terms of his growth in content, performance and mostly as an individual person. His maturity as a musician has allowed quite a number of new opportunities for the artist and new grounds of engaging with his new fans
He always shows great love to those who have been buying & listening to his music since the day he started his journey, not forgetting his appreciation to those who also came along the way and supported his energy.
He promised us new releases this year in an interview saying "anytime this year am dropping a massive joint with a hint of afro pop in it, fasten your seat-belts folks lols" We just can’t wait to hear what flizzy has in booth for us., so make sure you stay tuned for any new updates from our finest artist and keep on supporting the Young African Giant.
